In the process of planning for EBC enhancements for their existing Redmond EBC, Microsoft contacted the Storybuilding team at Hyperquake to assist with an experiential activation designed to showcase the Copilot AI product innovations and support successful customer engagements for their facility. After customer and brand research as well as key stakeholder interview takeaways, our strategists were able to craft a storyline from key themes that we found through our research.

Bridging Strategy and the Experience

In our physical solution, we will use a material story as the glue to bridge our Storyline and the Copilot brand with the physical space. We'll focus on materials that are visual metaphors for transformation, transparency, illumination, and/or fluidity.
The storyline, in combination with the Copilot brand, inspired our design team to create an experience through fluid shape language and materiality (inspiration above). These elements in combination with digital demo stations throughout the space created a free flow experience to allow guests, along with their guide, to seamlessly move between demo stations.
Materiality (perforated metal, illuminated curves, vinyl applications, and holographic film) work together with shape language to create a harmonious, organic flow.
